It was a very disappointing weekend at the Paul Ricard track for Emidio Pesce and team DR Formula.
In the second of eight European Formula Regional rounds hosted in France, the Italian racing driver completed a tough qualifying that relegated him to the back of the field ahead to finish 11th in Race one.
In Saturday’s second race Pesce moved up to tenth and showed a good pace, before having a no-fault incident with Briton Jamie Chadwick that edged him out again from the top-10.
As a result of that the DR Formula’s car had serious damage that prevented Pesce from entering Race three.
All postponed to the next round that will be held exactly in three weeks – 11/13 September – at the Red Bull Ring track, in Austria.
