From karting to single-seater and GT. Raul Guzman – under the DR Management banner – made this year his Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe debut, starting the season claiming a victory and four consecutive podium finishes over four races at Misano and Nürburgring.
This coming weekend, 10th/11th October, the young Mexican will share again driving duties with Serbian racer Miloš Pavlović in a Target Racing Huracán Super Trofeo Evo car, in the third out of five rounds of the series scheduled at the Montmeló circuit.
In Spain the 20-year-old DR Management’s racing driver, who recently has joined the Lamborghini Squadra Corse Young Driver Program, will aim to consolidate his Pro class lead that shares with his team-mate Pavlović. The pair has nine points over the Briton Dean Stoneman and now is looking for another victory.
The Barcelona weekend marks the turning point of the season, looking forward the grand finale at Spa (that will be held after two weeks) and Paul Ricard next November.
Tomorrow an extra testing day will kick-off action, followed by the two usual free practice sessions on Friday. Qualifying 1-2 will commence on Saturday at 10:45, with the race one start at 14:45. The second 50-minute race will start on Suanday at 10.50.
