DR Formula entered three cars in the last Sunday’s Italian F4 testing at Vallelunga. Both the confirmed drivers for the 2018 season, Edoardo Morricone and Laszlo Toth, attended at the Roman track.
The first completed 110 laps, setting his quickest time in 1:34.849. A problem affected his team mate, who faced an engine issue that prevented him to use fresh tyres.
In any case both the Italian and Hungarian driver could continue their preparation looking forward the next commitment in the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth that kicks off at Adria late next April.
Before that Morricone will make this week his return to the F4 UAE, for the sixth and last event of the Emirates’ series in which he already raced in the last January round claiming twice seventh.
Another driver who entered the Vallelunga testing was the newcomer 16-year-old Daniel Vebster. The Swedish boy impressed setting the fifth fastest lap in 1:34.316, just seven tenth from the pole position.
