Guzman heads to Nürburgring defending series’ lead

02 Sep 2020

Raul Guzman is set for the second out of five Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe rounds scheduled this weekend, 4th/5th September, at the Nürburgring circuit.

The young DR Management‘s racer – who has been recently announced as one of the Squadra Corse‘s Young Driver Program members – will share the driving duties with Serbian team-mate Miloš Pavlović in a Huracán Super Trofeo Evo car fielded by team Target Racing.

The 20-year-old talented Mexican heads to the German track hugely determined to defend his championship lead, after having claimed a victory and a podium finish at the Misano opener about one month ago.

Target Racing’s Pro pair has a seven-point gap over his pursuer Dean Stoneman in the standings, with a total of eight races still to be held.

Both 50-minute races will get underway on Saturday 5th. Race 1 will commence at 12:30, whilst Race 2 is schedueld to start at 18:05. Free practice and qualifying kick-off the weekend on Friday.
