Edoardo Morricone is raring to go as the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth heads this coming weekend to Imola for the fifth out of seven seasonal rounds.
DR Formula’s driver – after completing a very positive two-day testing at same track early this July, when he set the second fastest time among Rookies and the seventh overall – is focused and determined to aim to the podium.
At his maiden year in the single seater championship, Morricone showed strong speed improving well and claiming a podium finish in Monza last June.
The action in Imola starts tomorrow with the free practice. Qualifying sessions are scheduled for Saturday at 9.35 am and 10.00 am. The first of three 28-minute plus one lap will be raced at 3.50 pm. Race two and three get underway on Sunday at 9.50 am and 3.10 pm.
