One week after the test-day at Imola, team DR Formula returns to the same track that hosts this weekend the seventh of eight Formula Regional European Championship rounds.
Collective testing will kick-off the action tomorrow as the Danilo Rossi‘s squad will field two cars for Emidio Pesce and newcomer Ian Rodriguez, who made the series’ debut the last week looking forward his first official appearance in a race weekend.
Last Thursday the Guatemala’s racing driver set the second best time, only 21 milliseconds behind of championship runner-up Arthur Leclerc.
At Imola both Rodriguez and Pesce, who made a regular and fruitful first season in the DR Formula’s Tatuus, will continue their apprenticeship as well aim at a good result.
The first verdict is expected tomorrow, ahead of the Friday’s free practice sessions. Qualifying is scheduled on Saturday morning, followed by the first of three 30-minute and one lap races at 14:10. Race 2 will start on Sunday at 9 and Race 3 at 14:20, live streamed on Facebook and MS Motor TV.
