Single-seater newcomers Edoardo Morricone and Laszlo Toth both made their debut in the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth at the Adria circuit over the weekend 21st/22nd April.
The two DR Formula’s drivers experienced a not easy start, having to face a lot of traffic during the qualifying that prevented them to find a clear lap.
With 31 cars on track, Morricone set the 19th quickest time in Q2. The 16-year-old Italian racer finished 20th in race one and fought for the Rookie class podium in race two, eventually claiming the 13th place. An early contact in race three prevented him to achieve a better result.
Hungarian Toth claimed a best 18th position in race two, showing a consistent pace and improving well.
Both Morricone and Toth will make their come back on track during the next testing in Monza, on Monday 30th.
The second round of the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth will be held in France, at the Le Castellet circuit on 12nd/13rd May.
