Lisbon, 20 July 2021DR Formula is looking to build on its Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine campaign as the certified by FIA feeder series heads this weekend – 24/25 July, to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit for the sixth event of the year. In Belgium, the team led by multiple karting champion Danilo Rossi will field only one car for Emidio Pesce. The 19-year-old Italian racing driver, who is undertaking his third full campaign in the single-seaters, made significant progress in the first five rounds. Pesce now feels well prepared for the second part of the season, targeting a good weekend at the famous historic Formula 1 Grand Prix track in the Ardennes where the entire team’s strengths will be focused on him. Despite a good start this year, his team-mate Brad Benavides – who took the best P12 at the Montmeló circuit – in fact, decided to stop his 2021 program aiming to prepare in the best way for the 2022 season. The Spa-Francorchamps weekend will start on Friday with the two free practice sessions. Qualifying one and two are scheduled on Saturday at 11:20 and 16:20 ahead of race one at 19:25. Race two will commence on Sunday at 11:35. Both races will be live-streamed on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of the series.
