11 May 2021DR Formula travels to the Circuit Paul Ricard in France this week ready for the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth curtain-raiser. The team headed by Danilo Rossi makes its return to the feeder series with young racing driver Pedro Perino.The Portuguese made his F4 debut last year in the final round at Vallelunga. Perino now relishes a second visit to the Le Castellet track following an intense test program. With a strong 35-car grid, the series marks its eighth edition. In 2016 DR Formula claimed the third final position with Mexican Raúl Guzman, which is the best ever result in it secured in the series.This year the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth consists of seven events, including the French venue and the Austrian round at the Red Bull Ring.Free practice 1 and 2 will kick off the weekend on Friday. The two 15-minute qualifying sessions will start on Saturday at 9.00. The first of three 30-minute plus one lap races will commence at 14.00. Race 2 and 3 are scheduled on Sunday at 10.50 and 16.10.
