IAN RODRIGUEZ JOINS DR FORMULA AT THE IMOLA TESTING

DR Formula is set for Formula Regional European Championship one-day testing at Imola, scheduled for Thursday, November 12th, with an absolute newcomer.

Alongside reguar driver Emidio Pesce, the team led by Danilo Rossi will field a car for Ian Rodriguez. The 20-year-old racer from Guatemala will drive one of the DR Formula Tatuus single-seaters looking forward his debut in the series at the same venue in the penultimate round of the season, during the weekend of 21th/22th.

After having gained an important experience in the Italian F4 with DRZ Benelli from 2015 till the last year – claiming a victory at Vallelunga in 2017 – Rodriguez moved to the USA, entering the Indy Pro 2000 championship for RP Motorsport and finishing second at Road America and third at the Mid-Ohio track.

At Imola, DR Formula also confirmed Emidio Pesce. The young Italian racing driver aims to continue his apprenticeship to end the 2020 season in the best way.
