After having built up powerful and experience in karting and singleseater, always under the banner of Danilo Rossi, youngster Raul Guzman claimed the victory at his Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe debut, leading the pack in the first of two weekend’s races that kicked-off the Sant’Agata Bolognese’s one-make series season.

The 20-year-old Mexican driver, who races under the DR Management, celebrated his very first GT official appearance together with his team-mate Milos Pavlovic completing a Pro duo, and the Target Racing squad.

After setting the sixth quickest time in the first qualifying this morning, at the start of the night-Race 1 Guzman battled with experienced Jonathan Cecotto, remaining close to the top-5.

During the pit-stop he handed over to Pavlovic. The Serbian moved up to third. Eventually he passed Kevin Gilardoni and, with a few minutes to go, the leader Marcus Paverud, defending from the attacks of Kikko Galbiati.

Tomorrow Pavlovic will start again from the third row. Race 2 will start at 13.20, live streamed at Lamborghini Squadra Corse YouTube channel.
