Edoardo Morricone continued his positive apprenticeship in the Italian F4 Championship, taking part in the two-day Imola testing, Wednesday and Thursday this week. The Italian racing driver set the seventh quickest time and finished second among Rookies.
After improving well in the last round held in Misano late last June, the 16-year-old DR Formula’s racer lapped in 1:45.609, only one tenth slower than the other rookie Gianluca Petecof.
With 26 cars on track, Morricone showed great speed looking forward the fifth out of seven rounds of the series scheduled on 27/29 July.
In Imola DR Formula team fielded another car for newcomer Brice Morabito. The young Frenchman, who already made the F4 debut in Adria, made his first appearance on the Santerno’s circuit claiming a good 1:46.661.
