DR Formula team claimed an almost satisfying result in Monza, that hosts this weekend the third of seven Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth rounds. Despite a very tough qualifying, Edoardo Morricone brought high the Danilo Rossi’s squad, making his return to the series after having missed the previous race in Paul Ricard. Italian youngster set the 22nd time in the first qualifying session after a red flag penalized him. Eventually he finished five places ahead in Q2, starting an excellent comeback in race one that let him to finish 12th and fifth among Rookies. With a final safety car he couldn’t do better, fighting for the class podium during all the 15 laps completed. Definitely poor luck for his team mate Laszlo Toth who started from the 16th position with a total of 28 cars on the grid, but had to retire after only one lap due to an accident. Races two and three take place tomorrow at 9,00 am and 2,50, with live streaming available on the official Acisport website.
