DR Formula team completed a two-day testing of Italian F4 at Vallelunga, looking forward to hitting the ground when the third round of the series takes place at the same Roman track on 24th/25th June.

After having finished fifth yesterday afternoon, Artem Petrov posted the second overall time of the second day. The 17-year-old Russian racer lapped in 1m34:926 seconds in this morning session, leading a DR Formula one-two ahead of Aldo Festante, who set the third time just 49 milliseconds slower than his team mate. The Italian showed well also in day one, as he was fastest with the best time of 1m35.028 seconds.

Brazilian Felipe Branquinho after having impressed yesterday by posting 1m35.946 seconds that put him among the fastest rookies, in day two used the spare car because of an electric problem on his single seater, completing a total of 64 laps.

All the three drivers were very happy with this test, working in the last session through a wide variety of set-up changes and key areas of preparation ahead of race seven, eight and nine of the championship that get underway in less than two weeks. They have had a really positive couple of days in Vallelunga and it was good to be back in the car after so long away from the track.
